Hi Rex Ballard,

I downloaded WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.EXE,
Win XP Service Pack 2, 12 days ago...
...not once did I encounter a problem with it.
And I'm using a broadband ( cable ) connection,
Moz FireFox .9, Visual Studio C++ 7.1 ( 2003 ),
MS Word 2000, my own hand-rolled programs, etc.
FireFox upgrades always require a clean install,
it has minimal backwards compatibility.
I hear than Linux has problems like that.
MS VC7 ( from VC6 ) required a clean install.

Yea, I haven't personally encountered any such problems.
Have you ?
I was a bit worried when Windows first went to 32 bit code,
but even that turned out to be a non-issue for me.
My professor has some really old Word docs
that he had to convert recently.
Running the latest version does help.
