Hi,

According to the SCSI-programming-HOWTO in the section titled "Dynamically
insert and remove SCSI devices"
(http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/SCSI-Programming-HOWTO-4.html) the limit on the
number of devices that can be dynamically added is 2:

When adding more devices to the scsi bus keep in mind there are limited
spare entries for new devices. The memory has been allocated at boot time
and has room for 2 more devices.

Is this still true in 2.4 kernels (RHEL 2.1, 3.0, SLES 8)?
