    Don't complain to me, I know that the situation isn't as it chould be.
    But I neither can change it except encurrage anyone with some spare time
    left to take care and work for a better situation.

    You have to understand that framebuffer is kernel development and the
    people there like to write code and document it there (if ever). But if
    you ask about your exact problem within the mailing list you probably
    get a usful answer.

    If you want to use framebuffer for appliaction development better go to
    "http://www.directfb.org/", it's based on the framebuffer and is much
    better suited for application tasks. Or simply wait until I'm finished
    with my wyoDesktop project (see below) ;-) , than you could write
    cross-platform applications based on the framebuffer. But my time frame
    for the first preview is still around 2 years away :-(
