The sem_open in't available on RH7.2 and RH9. Where can i get it?
Is it guaranteed to be signaled even in case of a core-dump?
Wasn't RH9 abandoned about two years ago?
Upgrading is not an option.
the app has to run in a certified enviroment and that's RH 7.2 possibly RH 9.
Making substantial changes to the system is not allowed.
Maybe i can do something in a chroot-jail but modifying the system is risky.
Why is it that commercial apps always require the latest version of Windows or an ancient version of Red Hat?
Maybe because the current windoze is only as good as an old red-hat;)
