Where can we get the RFC for just the ftp client?

RFC 959 talks of a whole lot of things.

We also need the list of minimum items to be implemented by an ftp
client.

Would help if we can get some pointers.
depending on what you want to do, you may favor _using_ a ftp able library
such as libcurl.
