Read only: How to crash the latest opera browser

How to crash the most recent opera release under Linux:

1. Download a statically linked Linux version of the most recent opera
and install it.

2. Start up your network connection (dialup on my laptop in my case).

3. After the first-run of opera formalities, go to a web page that
demands, say, a flash plugin.

4. Start a download of the plugin. (Why is it that Linux browsers don't
"just work"? Why do you have to specify whether to download rpm and
where to put it?)

5. While the download is in progress, click on the "change widgets" in
the toolbar. Voilà.
