gstreamer x-fade

Hi there,

I need a x-fade solution which fades between two tracks depends on the
track volume (fade out track) like the winamp plugin "SqrSoft.
Advanced CrossFading v1.7". More precisely if the fade out track falls
the last time below a volume value (e.g. -6 db) the fade in has to
start, additionally should be a fading time interval possible which
controls the earliest and the latest fading start (e.g. max. 8000ms &
min. 50ms). The lot I have to integrate into a self written media
player which has to play two playlists simultaneously. The primary
playlist contains normaly audio ( e.g. mp3) files and the secondary
playlist contains only video files without any audio data. But the
primary playlist may contain video (e.g. mpeg) files. If the player
gets a video file from the primary playlist, after playing an audio
file, it has to stop the video from the secondary playlist (with
simple blending) and starts playing the video, which contains both
video & audio, from the primary playlist. After that the player has to
return to the combined playing (audio from the primary and video from
the secondary playlist). Is it very complex to implement with the
gstreamer framework?

Thanks

.
