Wonderful .
Thanks for the replies. Yes I wanted faster response from the GUI and
that is why I want to shift from Swing. I thought of reading as much
as possible but got frustrated that I cannot learn, when I read about
the X window System. Started with wxWidgets and an IDE for the same.
