What is the exact syntax for changing the action of moving to the next

that it did not work.
http://www.introrse.com/jasonc/docs/my-emacs.html (1) This does not say
the name of the next word / prior word function
(2) This uses the Meta-key, and I don't have the meta key (3) It does
not say where to put, and how to invoke the .emacs file
Other examples have much larger gaps.
Are you using Emacs or Xemacs? In Xemacs that's the default binding, I
just tried it and it does exactly what you want.
