I am a Visual C++ programmer that is trying to get up to
speed on Linux by Monday for a job interview, there is a job
that mostly involves Visual C++ but also has some Linux. I
already know the essential basics of compiling C++ programs,
and need to very quickly fill in a few gaps.
I don't know anything about where you're applying, but anybody who
tried to impress me with their Linux skills by telling me they'd
managed to make emacs look like an MS editor would end up pretty far
down on the list of applicants.
