Urgh, brain fart. I had the Loadable Kernel Module HOWTO up at the
same time, which does have a chapter on TTY drivers, but only mentions
a few of the ones that are available, not how to write a driver.
There is a chapter on TTY drivers in "Linux Device Drivers, Third
Edition" by Corbet, Rubini, and Kroah-Hartman (http://lwn.net/Kernel/
LDD3/). I haven't had a chance to read through it yet, though.
