Tellico: How to enter genre?

I'd thought I'd give Tellico a try and it looks quite interesting (though I need to find the time to add my 1000+ TV recordings on DVD+Rs ....).

I'd like to categorize my recordings like imdb does it, using several genres (e.g. "Jane Doe" (http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0288073/) is categorized as "Action / Thriller") but I fail to get them separated, i.e. whatever I enter in the "Genre" field, it ends up as a single entry in the "Genre" column, while I'd like to have two entries: "Action" and "Thriller". Somehow this must be possible as it works when I download the description from IMDB.
I tried slashes, commas, slashes with blanks ... to no avail

Does anybody know the format of multiple genres?
