Linux does the proper handling of the UART and buffering for you,
once /dev/ttyS... is opened.
No need for extra libraries.
I don't think so.
It doesn't matter what you think. It's not faith-healing or a
placebo affect. The tty driver has 1-page buffers regardless of
what you believe or don't believe.
