Hi,
I want to compile linux kernel 2.4.22 on my VirtualPC 6.1. I"m
currently using Redhat 9 with 2.4.20-8. I messed around with the
xconfig so the compilation got screwed up. The problem is it took a
long time for me to compile nearly 4-5 hours and experimenting will
take a lot of time. So is there any utility in linux which can scan
the system for hardware in the system and can set the parameters for
kernel compilation. This is my first time with linux compilation.
Thanks
Regards
Raj
