Hello all,

This message might seem very ambitious for a person like me but I'd
really appreciate any help.

I am a student of the professional masters program at the university
of chicago and want to take a course named "free software practicum"
which involves contributing in any free software. I can get credit
only if my code is included in the software. I want to work on linux,
particularly on networking side. I'm not a guru in programming and
I've forgotten what assembly language looked like! I've searched the
bug lists in linux networking and couldn't make a word out of it.
However, I still want to work on linux, even if it's the tiniest
contribution ever, as linux has always fascinated me. I am an all As
student and I believe that with the right guidance, I can acjieve my
goal. Can anyone be my mentor?

Best Regards,
Asra
