Point me to Linux IPC benchmarks please?

Hello,

Can anybody please point me to recent Linux IPC benchmarks please? Or
benchmark software?

I am writing an client/server application running on 1 machine and need to
know which is the most efficient means to pass messages ( < 512bytes ) back
and forward between the processes.
