About frame buffer and GUI

Hi all,

After my checking at PXA250 LCD controller driver,I can't really know
which routine is used for actually writing something to the LCD
panel.I want to know how GUI can make use of frame buffer(how to use
frame buffer device).

So,I want to check some GUI's low level source code to find out how it
use the frame buffer device.Can you tell me which one I can choose and
the exact file that interacts with the /dev/fb?
