Hi,
I'm looking for resources (current info of work in progress, links, docs,
etc) for system development in the storage layers. Things of interest are
dynamic reconfiguration of storage devices (Fibre channel/SCSI disks), the
ability to dynamically add/remove devices from a host's view. Both Solaris
and Windows 200x have this and I am working on a Linux project where I need
to do things like add/remove devices to/from a Linux host without rebooting
or unloading the driver modules.
Is anyone working on such projects for the 2.4 kernel? What is also being
done (or has been done) for the 2.6 kernel. I'm in an environment where I
can help out with development/testing if needed.
Thanks,
Don Khan
