Hello,
I was looking in my /usr/lib directory and I noticed that there were
library files for a lot of normal programs, like kate.so, kcalc.so,
libgimp, etc. What is the purpose of this? If that code is only for
those programs, why not keep it in the program's executable and put it
all in one package?
