Hi Pete!

Thanks for your answer, it helped a lot.
After figuring out that 2.6.5-bk2 is later
in the development cycle than plain 2.6.5
(and not earlier - "pre"-version like was
what I assumed before) I was able to apply
patches.

At least patching to a -bkX version worked,
-rcY-bkX didn't. But let's see if the
change I am looking for is before rc1 :)
