porting a driver.

Hi All;
 I have a driver that was written for Suse6.2, and I need to port it to
2.4.27 ( redhat9 with an updated kernal)
Any pointers? Would anyone have a real simple PCI driver or example code I
could use if I need toe rewrite the driver?
