make my own floppy distribution......

hi all.... im using mandrake9.2 with 2.4.21 kernel and im trying to
make my own floppy linux. I downloaded syslinux and busybox and had it
all done by the book. When i boot my floppy the kernel run well but
then a KERNEL PANIC:unable to mount root at 01:00. Im stuck here ,i
tried to find answers on google but nothing came out perfectly.can you
guys help me ???? i'd appreciate all replies.... sorry for my poor
english.
