I'm supposed to copy sets of Tandberg Streamers (QIC 1000). Given a set of 3
tapes that span. When their originals are used with their restore
application, it prompts for tape #2, & #3. My copies have all of the data
but do not cause the application to prompt. So it doesn't work. I open a
file descriptor on the device and read blocks until I get a block of zero
data read. Then I know I am at the end of something. I save the block index
and read another block. If I get more data, I keep going. If not, I am at
the.......
That's the question!!!
End Of Data or End Of Tape?
How would I know?
Thanks! James. :o)
