You mean your kernel was misconfigured... you may share how and why that
happened so that other people can learn too :)

If I'm not wrong there's no driver for that card in the kernel. You need to
download the acx100 driver and compile it. Note that compiling the driver
will requre access to your kernel tree - as it was when you compiled the
kernel you are using now.

Also you'll need to download firmware files, but thats documented in the
acx100 driver documentation.
