Hi,
I'm a Linux newbie, so pardon the easy questions. Is there a big
difference between Redhat 9 and RedHat AS3 where applications may not
work the same?
Essentially, we wrote an application that will eventually run on RedHat
AS. THe application was written in Java on W2000 and we want to make
sure it runs with no problems on RedHat AS.
However, we don't have RedHat AS - but we do have a Redhat 9 software
that we can use.
If we just test on just RedHat 9, will that be good enough to iron out
the OS differences?
I know one option is to use Fedora or WhiteBox but we need to test
today, and download/setup of Fedora or Whitebox will take about 2 days.
THanks!
