Linux 2.6.9 ide driver help

    I need some help to understand Ide driver code on Linux 2.6. I have to
    actually port it System On Chip (SOC) ide controller.
    I have gone through the code, found that major step is to pointing port
    registers[1f0-1f7] and dma-base.
    If there are any documents, write-up and general comment, that would be
    plus. I'm little confused where to start from.

    Appreciate any help since this is urgent.
