how to check the symbols inside binaries

    Hi,
      I am running ddd to debug an executable, but it always says
    gui_main.c is not found. This file is not from my code, but be
    somewhere in the system, or the library I link. But I do not know where
    it is, so I can not set up the DDD source path.

      I wonder what is the tool to check the symbol inside the binary
    executable, if I know what module "gui_main" belongs to, then I can
    know the path.
