    Why should this raise eyebrows?

    5% of a 4TB RAID represents one 200GB disk drive; perhaps $200 worth
    of disk space.

    In a well-managed RAID environment, you already need to budget to have
    a bunch of spare drives on hand; one extra drive doesn't strike me as
    being a material matter.
