Hello,
I have a HD with Linux installed on it (Fedora 2), which I took out,
and would like to use on a new machine. I don't recall whether I had
kudzu or anything enabled on it, so what do I do when I want to plug it
into a new machine and use it? It'll probably choke when it sees the
new motherboard etc., and I'm not even expecting everything to work off
the bat as long as I can reconfigure it later, but I'm guessing the
biggest problem will be the video card, since the X I had will not be
compatible with the new one (let's assume not, even if it turns out to
be), and I won't be able to get in to reconfigure it, since X will keep
failing, and then restart itself over and over ( Btw, WHY is this a
"feature" of FC2? You can't even turn it off in the runlevel!). Does
anyone have any tips?
Thanks.
