Hi,all
I want update my linux kernel from 2.4.20-8(Red Hat 9) to 2.6.15.4 in
VMware. But i get more errors when i begin to make install (before all
steps are successful) . errors show below:
You need to take quite a few steps (certain software) to upgrade
from kernel 2.4 -> 2.6 as outlined in Documentation/Changes.
Easiest would be to install a recent distro coming with kernel
2.6, Fedora Core 5, RHEL 4 or clones if you want/like Red Hat.
