starter with i.MX21

Hi everyone

I study in final year engineering. i have started working with the
i.MX21 kit with linux recently. but we dont have any support from
faculty on how to work on it. we would like to design any entry level
stuff on the board.

We had first hurdle in configuring minicom with board. we are using
Red hat linux (kernel 2.6).

Please help regarding all these stuff
