I was wondering if there was a distro that closely resambles an XP

Sorry, can't help you there since I neither use Windows nor like
fancy desktops. But I am rather sure that already a lot of effort
has been spent on making a XP-lookalike desktop. There also seem
to be some companies that sell distros with Windows-similarity as
an important selling point (not that I would be able to judge if
these distros are worth the money) like
www.linspire.com
www.xandros.com
www.xp-linux.com
A free distro with the same aim seems to be
www.xpresslinux.com
or have a look at
lxp.sourceforge.net
but I guess it's not the only one and a bit of googling will pro-
bably
Also, would Linux desktop be able to write (with proper software) PC
formatted floppies and can floppies automount/ready to be written?
It's some time since I had to use a floppy but if I remember correc-
tly that's what the mtools are good for.
Regards, Jens
