I didn't tell him to look at the source code, to understand the
conceptual outlines of malloc/free. He should look at the code,
to know, how the libc he uses does it actually.
I didn't write _g_libc, as he might as well use uClibc, dietlibc
or another, non glibc implementation.
This was purely aimed at the task to find out, how it's done in
the OP's production environment.
