Hi Gurus,
We have developed a Linux based product (something like network
monitoring system). Now we are planning to implement time-based
licensing for this product. This product is sort of server which runs
on a Linux machine (Cent OS). The product is written in C language.
Any ideas/pointers how the same can be achieved? I have never done
anything of this sort, hence your feedback will be very valuable.
Don't bother. Those who are honest will pay for their license
regardless, and those who are not will trivially bypass any
restrictions you might put in place.

Thanks M. for your reply :)
I agree with you for sure. But to be practical, we need some kind of
mechanism to put things in place. Any pointers as how to implement the
same will be valuable to me.
