RTOS USB Driver

Hi,
    I am currently working on a project where I need to build a USB
driver for a RTOS. I am a beginner with that kind of project and I don't
know where to start. I want to know if it exists any kind of software,
like WinDriver, which give you the possibility to build a driver
quickly. If not, I want to know if there are some reference usefull that
I should read before I begin this task.
