How to enable hotplug and the wireless card on TS 5500

Hi guys,

I am trying to enable the hot plug script and the wifi card on my
TS5500. I am new to Linux, so I really appreciate if any of you can
give me any direction on this or point me to the documentations. I
look at embeddedx86.com; however, I am still confuse. Thanks.
