Recommended toolchain?

Hi all!
What is the recommended toolchain to build a Snapgear-based system for
a Via-Epia 'destination' on a x86 host?
Is the one that Snapgear provides best? Or, for example, the one
available at https://crossdev.timesys.com/downloads ? Or are there even
better 'ready to use' toolchains available for download?
