Thanx michael...despite the solution u said, thanks for making me
realize the thing that i thought i was doing things myself...linux is
big and i am so obsessed that i wanted to do things in a night. It has
been a month only being aquainted with linux. I will give my best.
thanx

Why do you do the course if you don't want to do the work yourself ?
The book "Linux Device Drivers" by Rubini is a must-read if you want to
do your own device driver.
Linux comes with RAMFS, so the source code for a ram based file system
is available in the Kernel sources.
