cs4235 linux driver
Got around to installing mandrake 9.0 (from APC mag australia - november i
think)
i have everything running well EXCEPT for the CS4235 sound chip. i have no
audio except for the PC-Speaker beeps , thats it.
i see references to this chip at the
http://www.linux.org.au/LDP/HOWTO/Sound-HOWTO/ site, but can't make heads or
tails of it. i am a dos user from way back (ms dos 5.00 i learnt from) linux
is a new playing field for me. and so far i'm having fun with it. using
gnome desktop at the moment.
the pc is a IBM aptiva 300pl (Pii version)
any help will be big time appreciated.
thanks, matt.
