Hi,

Today, I just went to a local Office Depot and configured an inexpensive
Compaq Presario S4000V computer with the following specs for US$277.01
(after US$150 rebates):

        - Intel P4 2.2 GHz CPU with 128KB L2 Cache
        - 128MB DDR PC2700 (1 DIMM)
        - 40 GB 5400 RPM Ultra DMA Hard drive
        - 48X max. CDROM Drive
        - Keyboard & internet Scroll Mouse
        - Integrated 5.1 Capable Sound w/ Front Audio Ports
        - Integrated Graphics (Has an AGP slot on Mobo)
        - 1.44 MB Floppy Drive
        - Windows XP Home Edition OS
        - MS Works/Money 2003/Encarta

Can anyone please tell me if the above specs will work on Linux? I don't
know if one can find a better price with the above specs currently. What do
you all think?
