Hi!
A few days ago i made my first expierences with linux. I set up an
older machine here at home running Red Hat 9.
I want to use the Pinnacle PCTV Pro installed in the system. So far i
had no success doing so.
I noticed that i'm using an older version of the bttv-Driver which has
some problems determining my TV-Tuner-Card. I decided to upgrad the
driver to 0.7.109. I downloaded the tarball from
http://bytesex.org/bttv/ .
So far so god. But i'm now stuck even before i've installed anything:
After i've switched to the decompressed directory, i type 'make' which
results in a failure message:
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
So ... um ... is there anybody out willing to explain the installation
process for Red Hat 9?
Thank you very much!
Bye
Mario
