Use pricewatch to collect prices. Looks like the Opteron 240 is down to
$266, while the Asus SK8N is down to $223. Add a cheap AGP video card,
512 MB of memory, and a smallish disk and you're talking about a $800
system.
I wouldn't necessarily *build* an Opteron system by buying parts on
Pricewatch, but it's a good way to go about the pricing process.
