I got this workstation preassembled 4 years ago, it came with Sony Trinitron
200PS and Matrix Millenium video card. It functioned perfectly all these
years but today the monitor picture is totally screwed up, very wavy at the
bottom 1/3 of the screen and the top 1/3. I did nothing to cause this, it
just suddenly happened. I unplugged it from the machine and it remained
messed up, with "No input" message wavy and unreadable.

First, is this an adjustment issue? Can I fix it?

Secondly, if I have to get another monitor, what are my alternatives to
    200PS?

It is a monitor with excellent picture but it appears with not very good
longevity. I thought monitors should last 10 years at least. Or is 4-5 years
a natural lifespan? If I get another one, I want another old monitor like
this. Even though new ones have really come down in prices.
