I don't think so. I've had nothing but problems with USB devices. None
of them work, under 3 distros so far - SuSE, Knoppix, or RH9. All of
them can see the USB ports, but never know if the device is plugged in.
  At the time, I checked to make sure all the proper stuff was loading -
at least according to the stuff I found on the web or was pointed to by
the kind people in here, but it still never worked. About the only lead
I got was someone else having the exact same problem with the same mobo
and usb controler - but I never saw any resolution.

I was going to install some updated drivers from ASUS for the nForce2
chipset, but I decided I didn't much care for RH - so I'm working on
getting Gentoo installed. Once I am done getting that done I'll
continue to work on the USB issue (if it still is).
