I'm having problems with this device.
I am using a Minolta Scan Dual II with the USB port,
but the soundcard won't work.
It keeps connecting and disconnecting (and the blue light keeps blinking)
It finds the Vendor and Product ID, but has a problem with
getting the "device string" (error from usb.c).
I have tried several different kernels, 2.2.21, 2.2.22,
2.5.75 and 2.6.0-test3 and -test4.
I'm going to send a more detailed bugreport to the usb-users
list, but it seems my subscription hasn't come through yet.
Have anyone else tried this soundcard on Linux?
In my opinion, I think it's a problem with the USB-port
on the machine since it's a bit old, but maybe some
of the genious linux kernel developers can make a workaround :-)
That said, it doesn't work in Windows with the drivers
suplied with either. I'm going to contact creative about this
and also complain a bit with the poor Linux-support.
If anyone have any idea...at all...I would be pleased to hear about it!
I can provide logs and everything else...
