My USB printer, scanner, camera, Peerless drive and usb-to-serial box do
not work under B2.4 kernel in Debian. I followed the basic command line
advice (as su)from this newsgroup, but no entry at the command line gets
the devices to work. And the HOWTOS on this stuff are extremely
inadequate at best.
I have the following peripherals that used to work fine under windows but
won't work under Debian 2.4 kernel.
HP5370C scanner USB
HP5P printer & Epson Stylus 850...both with USB cables
Intel Camera ProPack webcam USB
18 Gig Iomega Peerless USB.
I thought that the B2.4 flavor was supposed to get USB devices to load
without all this trouble!? Can anyone make a suggestion?....no, not "go
back to windows" Thanx
