In my quest for a portable Netdisk or Quantum Snapserver-like device,
that has an ethernet, not usb or firewire interface, which supports
3.5" ATA133 drive(s) and legacy operating systems, I have drawn a
blank, other than opening up my wallet for a Snapserver, which is
still too big for my tastes.
So I need to find a very small single-board system that has an
ATA100/133 interface on it, to fit inside a 5" CDROM enclosure or
smaller, with a 3.5" drive. I've considered the Mini-ITX Eden
motherboard, but even that is too large. Has anyone seen such a
motherboard/enclosure that supports a 3.5" drive, not a 2.5?
Thanks.
Jeff.
