Hello,

Last week I had a redhat 7.2 box with ximian and a Graphire tablet that
worked fine. This week, I upgraded (updated) to redhat 9.0 and the new
ximian. I found that the graphire worked poorly - the chief problem being
the inability to use relative (mouselike) mode instead of absolute
positioning. Secondarily, the wheel works in reverse and the pen buttons
are swapped.

Feeling the stock drivers faulty, I obtained instructions (wacom
mini-howto) for the building of wacom.so and wacom_dev.so. The wacom.so
made little difference, but I am using it. The wacom_dev caused the
mouse-wheel to jitter and fail. The absolute / relative issue was
unchanged.

I seek help.

Regards,
Phil
