hi everyone!
i was trying to use Jason Tang's raid driver for redhat 9.0
i created driverdisk, booted from cd, added 'ide0=0x1f0...expert'-line at
boot cmd line and it went fine
after being asked about driver disk, i inserted disk previously created, but
installator hung up during reading the content. i got 'reading files'
message, system didnt respond, ctrl+alt+del were dead, and diode on fdd
continuously lights, however no data were being read.
i'm struggling since long time (starting from rh 7.3).
i dont know if its either me or my cpu a kind of 'special case' ;)
if anyone have any clue, i'd be greatfull for the help
greetings
chris
p.s im using msi k7t266 pro2 RU motherboatd with promise fastTrak lite 100,
2x seagate 50gb, athlon 1ghz
