I have a Gigabyte 8knxp board. I tried using the build in ATA133
(in ATA mode, not RAID) using the iteraid driver. I got the source
and built it myself for kernel 2.4.22.
Only the first controller works reliably. The second will occasionally
fair on bootup. From the logs I gather that it queries the drive for it's
dimensions and gets zero.
I tried different drives and cables all with the same results, so it's
either
the motherboard or the driver.
Also, if you rmmod then modprobe the driver it OOPSes the kernel.
